Please help us help children with Down syndrome everywhere by joining our Women’s 5k Challenge team.
Down Syndrome Education International works to improve education for young people with Down syndrome wherever they live. Around one baby in every thousand is born with Down syndrome – and there are over 10,000 young people with Down syndrome living in the UK.
Our vision is a world where all young people with Down syndrome are offered the opportunities that they need to achieve their individual potential.
We discover potential through scientific research and transform lives by improving learning opportunities. We work to understand how learning processes are different for people with Down syndrome and how we can best adapt support and education to take account of these differences.
Our books, journals, films, teaching materials, training course and web sites offer comprehensive and reliable information and advice to families, professionals and researchers throughout the world.
Down Syndrome Education International's work to improve education for young people with Down syndrome in the UK and around the world depends on your support. Donations, grants and volunteer fundraising from individuals and organisations around the world fund most of our vital activities. Please help us!
