Women unite in the battle against cot death

Cot death is not a thing of the past. It is still the biggest killer of babies over one month old in the UK, claiming more lives than meningitis, leukaemia, other cancers, house and road accidents. Almost everyone knows someone who has been touched by cot death.

The Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths (FSID) funds research into the causes and prevention of cot death, as well as supporting bereaved families, promoting safe baby care advice and working with professionals to improve investigations when a baby dies.

FSID’s “Back to Sleep” campaign has helped reduce cot death by 75%, and we estimate that more than 20,000 babies have been saved since the charity began.

However, it is only with your help that we can continue this lifesaving work to make cot death a thing of the past once and for all.

Then once you have signed up let us know and we can send you your fundraising pack and FSID running vest. We will then be on hand with all the fundraising and training support you need, and all we ask is that you fundraise as much as you can for our cause.
